You know, I'm pretty used to dealing with takedown notices, copyright infringement claims and cease and desist letters when it comes to ONTD, but I've never dealt with a demand for retraction.

You all might remember this post, where Demi Moore's cover was pretty much declared as being fake and photoshopped.

I'm just here to pass along the message from Demi's pissed off camp that...it's not true, ok!? I would love to show you all the lovely legal notice, complete with lulztastic quotes where we're urged to govern ourselves accordingly after acting at our own peril, but I can't! It even has memos from Dennis Freedman, Creative Director of W Magazine and the photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott backing up the claim that "there was ABSOLUTELY no retouching on her hips or waists or legs!!"

Needless to say, I think we all owe Demi Moore a great big ONTD apology, so I want everyone to comment here and say you're sorry!!

lol oh "edgy" Miley

Tom Morello to donate Rage Against The Machine Vs 'X Factor' Christmas Number One money to charity

Rage Against The Machine's Tom Morello is set to donate his earnings from the 'Killing In The Name'/X Factor Christmas Number One race to charity.

A fan-orchestrated campaign is urging people to download the 1992 track this week so it can stop the TV show winner Joe McElderry from reaching the top of the charts and so prevent Simon Cowell's series from claiming its fifth consecutive Christmas Number One.

According to the campaign organisers, Rage Against The Machine's guitarist has pledged proceeds from the track to a UK charity.

"Tom Morello of RATM has said he will donate earnings to Youth Music, a scheme helping young musicians in the UK," they posted on Twitter.com/RATM4Xmas.

The campaign itself is raising money for homeless charity Shelter.

They also urged fans to keep downloading the song as McElderry's track, 'The Climb' gets its physical release today (December 16).

"Destroying the opposition on iTunes," they declared. "'The Climb' is in shops today so keep buying RATM!"

Yesterday, Morello himself backed the campaign via Twitter, urging fans to buy 'Killing In The Name'.

For more on The X Factor and its effect on British music, get this week's issue of NME – on UK newsstands now – for an exclusive interview with Simon Cowell.

thoughts? i thought the whole campaign wasn't very 'fuck you i wont do what you told me'-esque but the charity thing makes it ok for me tbh!

Kings of Leon frontman Caleb Followill pops, sprays, and chugs champagne in the January 2010 issue of Spin Magazine, as captured by British fashion photographer Frederike Helwig.

KoL was named Band of the Year by Spin and when asked about achieving this level of fame, Caleb shared, “We definitely got bigger than we wanted to be. You feel like you’ve done something wrong. That woman in mom jeans who’d never let me date her daughter? She likes my music. That’s f—ing not cool. You almost start doing damage control: When people ask you to do stuff, you’re like, ‘No, because I can already tell this record is going to get to a level where people will f—ing hate us.’” Source

Jesse McCartney plants a sweet kiss on Alexa Chung’s cheek as he appears on It’s On With Alexa Chung on Tuesday morning (December 15) in NYC.

The 22-year-old musician dished to host Alexa about voicing the youngest of the chipmunks in the upcoming Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, and even answered a few “naughty” questions.

He shared, “It’s one of those funny things. You go into the studio and Theodore has the highest voice of them all…” Jesse’s voice was then magically transformed into Theodore’s.

TMZ- Kid Cudi — the guy who sings that “Day ‘N Nite” song — has been officially dropped from the Lady Gaga tour in the wake of a brutal fan-punching incident.

Sources at Interscope Records confirm the rapper is “no longer” with the tour — but wouldn’t say if the decision had anything to do with YouTube footage showing Cudi punching fans in the front row of a concert in Vancouver this past weekend.

We’re told Cudi will be replaced on the Gaga tour by Jason Derulo — the guy who sings “Whatcha Say.”

No comment from Lady Gaga’s camp.
